Celebrating 15 years in 2012!
Spring is just around the corner, which means it's time to start making breeding plans!
This is one of our favorite times of the year, second only to the arrival of foals. Our
beautiful broodmares are ready for 2012.
Rosa De Washoe BGR (Kanalisto x Barichs
Legenda by *Barich De Washoe) will be bred back to Om El Exquisit, and
Lolita RR
(Legacy of Gold x Barichs Legenda) will be bred to Kanalisto.
Kanalista BGR
(Kanalisto x Om El Nariya Dream by Dreamcatcher SMF) will start under saddle with
Ali Brady this year.
If you are thinking about breeding this year, the Breezy G Ranch is very proud to stand
our beautiful 2001 Purebred Arabian Stallion,
Kanalisto.  (AG Alisto (straight Spanish)
x Kanatasha (*Barich De Washoe x Kanadea by Azraff). Kanalisto embodies the classic
Spanish Arabian qualities of temperament, substance, athleticism and beauty.
Originating in Spain during the mid 1800s,
Spanish Arabians were very selectively
bred, creating a tight gene pool. The genetic impact of this tight gene pool is excellence as an
outcross for not only other Arabian bloodlines, but also other horse breeds. In the United
States, Spanish Arabians represent far less than .1% of the total Arabian population; and
yet when ever presented, Spanish Arabians and their related crosses take an extremely high
percentage of wins in shows and events in multiple disciplines.
